Amin is co-Founder/CEO of Echelon Consulting, a firm that he co-launched in 1997. Amin is responsible for carrying out the mission of building long-term client relationships in Echelon’s core competency areas of technology strategy, full life cycle custom application development, and technical help desks. In his role, Amin also gets involved in key technology initiatives and has been one of the leads on Echelon’s client implementations of enterprise search technologies. He has demonstrated Echelon’s innovations in the use of enterprise search technologies at various recent venues, including Oracle OpenWorld 2008.
 
Prior to starting Echelon Consulting, Amin spent three years with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) within a global technology group that spent 50% of its time on new technology R&D and 50% of its time in the field helping other consultants learn new technologies.
 
Amin has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an “International Minor” in German from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
