Derek Reinhard is a retired Air Force fighter pilot who has worked current operations in Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan. His IT design and procurement work included scheduling and tasking for Stateside AF flight training and, as an exchange officer with the Royal Air Force in England, supporting peace-keeping operations in Sierra Leone. Reinhard is now an operations analyst for General Dynamics Information Technology, working as the enterprise knowledge manager and assistant technology team director for HQ USAF Wargaming Branch. Current work in Reinhard’s portfolio includes exploring methods of deep information retrieval through digital asset management and biometric identification in support of the chief of staff of the Air Force’s Title X Wargame, Unified Engagement 2008.
