Ken Ritchhart is the CIO, Customs and Border Protection, for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Ritchhart’s IT experience has included serving as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) chief of data and information management, chief of data engineering
and integration, chief of it systems development, and deputy assistant director for it systems development. His responsibilities encompassed overseeing the creation of a comprehensive enterprise capability to securely store, retrieve, and share agency-wide information. Ritchhart holds a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a master’s in computer science from the University of Oklahoma.
