Brett Furst is Vice President, Healthcare, for Compuware Covisint. He is a business and thought leader with 20 years of experience in delivering collaboration exchanges and large-scale, software solutions within the healthcare, manufacturing and CPG industries. He was recently interviewed on PBS’ Nightly Business Report and Fox Business News discussing technology’s impact on healthcare trends. Furst led the establishment of Covisint’s on-demand healthcare solution, and helped lead the healthcare division to earn its third consecutive “Best Demonstration of Value/ ROI” award. Furst also drove strategic Covisint partnerships with Microsoft, AT&T Northrop Grumman and the states of Michigan, Tennessee and Minnesota. Under his leadership, Covisint purchased ProviderLink, expanding Covisint’s ability to handle “unstructured” (paper-based) data for healthcare and other industries. Additionally, he oversaw the acquisition of Hilgraeve, Inc., helping physicians quickly connect to healthcare providers and patients. Prior to joining Covisint, Furst ran North American sales for JBA International, as well as the successful launch of several start-up ventures throughout the 1990s.
