Vladimir Zelevinsky graduated from MIT with a graduate degree in Nuclear Physics. His work at a semantic network software startup led him to Lycos, where he researched novel techniques for text extraction and information synthesis. For the last five years, he has worked as a Research Scientist at Endeca Technologies, where he attacked matters as diverse as salient term extraction, query result coherence, intelligent recommendations, semantic triplet navigation, and data mining. He is currently in charge of Endeca's Applied Research program and blogs (periodically) at Search Facets.
