Ellen has worked in IT corps as an independant consultant for over 15 years. In 2009, her focus was as a solutions designer and account executive for a large professional services partner to the ever-popular Atlassian Enterprise SW products.

In this role she learned first hand the importance of search and integration between many systems in corps - directly from continual customer requests.The Enterprise 2.0 themes of reduce the silos were a continual field request.

From there, she connected with search vendors to allow for calibrated search across many systems, not just Atlassian's. She also connected with Enterprise RSS and search and discovery vendors to further reduce the silos with content syndication services. She is passionate on these themes.

The AppFusions team focuses on developing system connectors between E2.0 collaboration platforms and purpose-built systems like Enterprise search appliances, wikis, ECMs/CMSs/DMSs, CRMs, etc.
