Enterprise search remains a gigantic puzzle for many people. Both in IT and in line-of-business departments, the task is to assemble all the pieces to enable real progress. The search function should facilitate knowledge sharing, effective information delivery, customer satisfaction, and business operations improvement. What enterprises need from search is changing. Technologies are changing. Yesterday's answers may not fit today's questions.

What answers to the puzzle have you found? Are there questions you want to raise? Here's your opportunity.

Share your expertise and experience at Enterprise Search Summit!

Enterprise Search Summit (ESS) returns to Washington DC in November 2013, again in conjunction with KMWorld, Taxonomy Boot Camp, and SharePoint Symposium. We seek dynamic speakers who can talk knowledgeably not only about the technical aspects of enterprise search but also about the business implications of successful implementations of enterprise search. Do you have new approaches? Have you effectively met the search challenges within your organizations? Have you put together some puzzle pieces in interesting ways? We're looking for real people with real solutions to real search problems.

This is an exciting time to introduce the search innovations that will directly affect mission-critical operations. Share your expertise with colleagues at Enterprise Search Summit.

We invite you to submit a proposal to participate in this exciting conference. Click here to submit your proposal. The deadline for submitting proposals is March 8, 2013.

The audience at Enterprise Search Summit is well-informed and tech-savvy. We're looking for speakers who can 'wow' this audience with their insights into designing enterprise search so that it empowers business operations, enhances user experience, and allows workplace innovation to occur. Case studies of search for intranets, specialized information systems, social networks, informational sites, ecommerce, or any combination are particularly welcome.

  • Benchmarking search effectiveness
  • Case studies: Strategies that work
  • Advances in search UX
  • Multilingual content and querying
  • E-discovery and risk management
