Linda Beaudoin is the Director of eDiscovery Analytics for Daegis. Linda leads a team that is responsible for the design and implementation of the data analytics process, including consultations with clients, execution of data targeting strategies, improving and developing the process, validation of results, quality control and related documentation. Prior to joining Daegis, Linda was a founding member of the SPi Data Analytics consulting group where she was responsible for data targeting strategies on large discovery projects. She has also defended SPi’s search strategies and data reduction techniques to Government Regulators, Bankruptcy Examiners and participated with counsel for Rule 26(f) meet and confer sessions. In addition, Linda held a number of positions with Daticon, Inc. including Lead Business Analyst, Director of Client Services and Litigation Software Consultant. Here, she was responsible for the creation of the Business Analyst department that was primarily focused on internal/external business requirements analysis and specification design for development and project-specific initiatives. She has extensive experience in structured and unstructured data retrieval techniques, software evaluation, training and project management. Linda’s prior experience as a Senior Litigation Paralegal and Systems Administrator with a Providence, RI law firm provided her with a deep understanding of the legal process and how E-Discovery and search technology fits in. During her tenure with the firm, she gained significant trial and discovery experience, including drafting legal pleadings, legal and topical research, document review and trial support. She was also responsible for the evaluation and implementation of many practice support applications.
