Helen Mitchell Curtis serves as Senior Program Director of Enterprise Solutions at Macfadden. In this role she works closely with government and commercial clients to develop enterprise-wide search strategies and implementations to build governance, management and end user buy-in, collaboration, standards, findability and improved organization of data and document assets.  Prior to joining Macfadden, Helen spent more than 32 years at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where she led one of the largest enterprise search implementations among Civilian Federal Agencies.  

Helen specializes in integrating search technologies across IT applications and disparate document repositories.  Utilizing SOA, she enables clients to reduce costs, improve quality and efficiency, reduce 'pain points' and achieve a positive search experience for the professional knowledge worker.  In her spare time, Helen enjoys spoiling her 2 grandchildren, writing poetry and photography.
