Russell Foltz-Smith is a veteran of new media, online advertising ventures and search engines. His career involves a series of successes with the rapid development and explosive growth of innovative interactive experiences. Over a 10 year period, Russell has launched more than 75 web services, many of which went on to successful acquisitions, mergers or long term profit. Venture capital firms and established media companies have turned Russell for early stage company development and M/A activity. Russell's experience includes key leadership roles with Citysearch/IAC, Business.com, AlphaMediaGroup, GrindTV/SportNet and other engineering and strategic engagements with Hachette Filipacchi, Yahoo!, SupplyFrame, eHarmony, Reunion.com/MyLife, and American Greetings. Currently in his role as Business Development and Partnerships Director for Wolfram|Alpha LLC, he's leading the charge to bring the world's first computational knowledge engine together with the leading brands, companies and organizations. Russell holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Chicago. He lives in Venice, CA with his wife and two daughters.
