Idaho National Laboratory Software Architect/Engineer Wayne Simpson has been working in software solutions for the past 29 years. He has given conference presentations nationally and internationally. He has been recognized by numerous organizations and countries for his work ranging from his latest release of Human Event Repository and Analysis System with the United States NRC, Norway, Holland, Sweden, France and private US Nuclear utility companies to Russian consultant work on expert system modeling. Wayne has received numerous awards for his efforts in software technical contributions from the Westinghouse President’s Cup to Cyber Security ingenuity for scanning internet vulnerabilities. Wayne maintains his skills through multiple certifications including, Project Management Professional (PMP) in 1994 to 18 different programming languages since 1979. Wayne leads many projects relative to cutting edge research. His most current research initiatives include findability, metadata repositories, digitization, integrating research library functionalities, federation, semantic web, taxonomies, ontology’s, Natural Language Processing, social networking and document/user digital signatures.
